Tools for School Drive 2015
It's that time of year again! The AMI Foundation will host the 7th Annual Tools for School Drive. The school supply drive will run from Monday, July 27th through Friday, August 14th. Donations will be collected in each of our offices - just drop the supplies in the blue baskets in your office reception area.
There are many children throughout our communities that are not prepared for their return to school simply because they do not have basic school supplies -- pencils, paper, etc. Through the support of our employees, physicians and the community, we have been able to donate over 1,700 back packs to help these children prepare for their school year. Lets reach our goal this year -- 200+ back packs!
Many of the larger retailers (Walmart, Target, etc.) already have school supplies available at deep discounts.
Below is a list of NEW school supplies needed:
- Pencils
- Erasers
- Spiral notebooks
- Pocket folders
- Crayons
- Colored markers
- Colored pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Highlighters
- Soft pencil cases
The AMI Foundation has purchased back packs to accompany the school supplies. The back packs will be delivered to elementary schools throughout the area in late August.
