Another Successful Holiday Food Drive

The Press of Atlantic City recently published an article on the AMI Foundation's Annual Holiday Food Drive, which collected more than 500 pounds of food during the 2014 Holiday season. The food drive benefited the Community FoodBank of New Jersey Southern Branch and the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Donations of canned and other nonperishable food items by community members and AMI staff took place at all nine AMI offices in Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean counties throughout November to help stretch food budgets during the holiday season.

"This is another way for us to give something back to the communities we serve," said Robert M. Glassberg, president and CEO of AMI and president of the AMI Foundation.

"The programs, services and partnerships undertaken by the foundation are designed to enhance the quality of life and improve the health status of community residents, and we believe this food drive is consistent with that mission and vision," Glassberg said.
